Year-Round Mentoring Group for Academic Leaders

With Dr. Charles White and Dr. Daryl McCarthy

We aim to mentor Christian academics with foundational knowledge, encouragement, relationships, and training to enable them to effectively serve Christ in higher education.

What Past Participants Say About the Mentoring

Firstly, and most important, it re-centers me to the most important things of Glorifying God and seeking his will... enabling me to bring fresh vision and energy to my ministry. Also, it brings boldness for ministry and witness, building identity, value, and purpose as Christian scholars, and, so important! connection and relation. It helps specifically in providing a model for encouraging other Christian students and/or scholars to develop a Christian mind in their work, which is part of me and my husband’s ministry, and a perspective development of our work for the Kingdom. Multiplied blessings and THANK YOU for the faithfulness to the Call! I’ve been strongly blessed and pray to be a blessing, accordingly!
— Alina Balaceanu, doctoral student from Romania

It is helping me to recognize that this is an avenue of ministry which I should pursue and embrace as we move to serve in Vietnam. It is giving me the opportunity to learn from a variety of different people that I otherwise would not have met. It is simultaneously helping me to set realistic expectations and also be ambitious for the gospel among the students who I will teach in the future.
— Martin Paterson, MTh student at Edinburgh Theological Seminary
